The Power of Money (Part 1)

Money is a very powerful tool that can be abused and used for evil; this is exactly what it means when people say “Money is the root of all evil.” There is truth to that statement however that is only half the truth. There is another truth that people miss when talking about money. Cosmic economics states that money has the power to bless God’s people and provide for people’s needs.

Bernard Jordan, a modern-day prophet, has written a book entitled, The Power of money. Here, he discussed 10 principles that can be used to attract wealth and prosperity in your life. It will also give spiritual enlightenment to gain wisdom in the wise use of money, which is also called, stewardship.

Cosmic economics is a biblical principle taught by Bishop Jordan the text is clearly described in Matthew 25:14-29. This is the parable of the five talents where God gave His three servants money that they have the freedom to do as they so decide. It was supposed to be a test, and at the end, God was displeased with the servant who buried the money instead of putting it to good use.

The message of this parable is that God’s desire is to bless His people with the abundance that they deserve. In cosmic economics it also follows the same principle that money has to be used to good use to bless your life and the life of other people whom God has given you. Money is supposed to bless every aspect of your life so that God’s power may be manifested in you.

Cosmic economics is about taking control of money and becoming good stewards this is God’s initial design. Evil, however, has corrupted the mind of selfish people so that instead of money serving them, they become slaves of money.

10 Key Wealth Principles (Part 1)

1. Wealth grows wherever men exert energy.

This means focusing on your goals persistently. Go to the direction where money will be working for you rather than you working for money. Be willing to work hard and then exert all your effort to multiply the talent that God has given you.

2. Opportunity wastes no time with the unprepared.

There is nothing so disappointing for Bishop Jordan than a missed opportunity. He believes that people should know what they are capable of doing, and this can only be possible if they know the power that is within them. Everyone needs to master spiritual enlightenment so as to have the courage to move on and take chances for success.

3. Money is designed to work for you.

A person who wakes up every single day to work for money so that he can pay the bills and rent is a slave to money. Cosmic economics principle states that this is not God’s design but the devil’s. God’s desire for His people is to bless them with the life of abundance by making money their slave and not the other way around.

4. Money is designed to be your servant. You should tithe with the first 10 percent of your income.

There is just one time in the bible that God allowed men to test Him, and that is in the area of giving. This is the reason why He asks us to give the first fruits of our labor. He does this so that by giving we can receive the abundance in money, relationships, career and in all other areas of our life.

5. A part of everything that you earn is yours to keep.

According to Bishop Jordan here is the cosmic economics’ savings principle: 10 percent of your income goes to your tithe then the next 10 percent should be your offering and at least another 10 percent goes to you. This portion is to be used and managed wisely, so it will activate your treasure chest through profit.

Cosmic economics should be learned and practiced consistently so that God can put forth His blessings of abundance for you and your family.
